Set of nine 4.25" hand painted tiles, inspired on a traditional antique Portuguese design.

Background glaze is off-white.

These ceramic tiles are prepared for wall covering.

Some imperfections may appear due to being hand-painted and hand-glazed.

Our work preserves the tradition of hand painted tiles, brought in Europe by the Moors in the 14th century. It includes the way of preparing the glaze and the cobalt wash. Heat, or any abrasive cleaning applications do not affect the integrity of our tiles, that are meant to be conserved for centuries!
