In the Village: Two hand painted 4.25" tiles, Delft style tiles

A cute village/farm scenery with a little girl on a bicycle : hand painted 4.25" tiles, in a Delft style. Can be used as insert with other tiles, as a kitchen decor, as collectible (we can customize new images), as images to be framed, or as coasters. Please let me know if you'd like a cork in the back of the tiles!

Background glaze is off-white. Imperfections may show, due to being hand glazed and hand painted.

Our work preserves the tradition of hand painted tiles, brought in Europe by the Moors in the 14th century. It includes the way of preparing the glaze and the cobalt wash. Heat, or any abrasive cleaning applications do not affect the integrity of our tiles, that are meant to be conserved for centuries!
