Set of four hand painted 6" tiles, Delft style with colors.

Tiles in this set were based on antique Delft tiles. Background glaze is off-white.

Imperfections may show, due to being hand glazed and hand painted.

Our work preserves the tradition of hand painted tiles, brought in Europe by the Moors in the 14th century. It includes the way of preparing the glaze and the cobalt wash. Heat, or any abrasive cleaning applications do not affect the integrity of our tiles. They are meant to be conserved for centuries!
