Set of nine 4.25" hand painted tiles - multi color vase of flowers, delft style

Set is formed of five delft style tiles, and four blank tiles with painted corners. Basic color is blue, with accents that vary from orange, yellow, purple, green, turquoise, red, and brown.

The background glaze is off white. Some imperfections may show due to being hand-painted and hand-glazed (bisque tiles made in Mexico) and kiln fired. These ceramic tiles are prepared for wall covering.

This is our original pattern, and can be reproduced in a variety of colors (or combination of colors). More of the blank tiles can also be ordered.

We will be happy to take special orders of any sizes! However, it might take more time to deliver, depending on the size of the order. This time can be stipulated upfront.

Our work preserves the tradition of hand painted tiles, brought in Europe by the Moors in the 14th century. It includes the way of preparing the glaze and the cobalt wash. Heat, or any abrasive cleaning applications do not affect the integrity of our tiles, that are meant to be conserved for centuries!
